The mantras operate in many ways, for example: some words forms bring with themselves defined ideas, and they change completely the chain of our thoughts and sentiments, as it is the case of the national anthem of a country; the hymns and songs of Christmas; the war screams, which performed so preeminent role in the medieval battles.
The religions have mantras operated by faith, as the great arising Mohammedan invocation at the top of the observatories: "There is no God, except God". The Catholic church owns their mantras, that when recited religiously and by the sacred music, readjust spiritual energies, disperse unpleasant emotions and associate sublime feelings in the followers, bringing emotional and mental purifications.
One of their more famous mantras is "Hoc Corpus est Meun" ("This is My Body"); Christ did himself a pact, that whenever these words are pronounced, in any language, by one of his properly orderly priests, He will answer to him. They produce, so, a certain wonderful transformation in the bread, on which he pronounces them, so that, although the external appearance of the bread remains the same, its principles or superior counterparts are substituted by Christ's Own Life, that it becomes so exactly his vehicle, as how was the body that He used in the Palestine.
There are mantras that operate only by the sound. The vibration that the sound puts in action rebounds in man's various bodies, and it tends to put them in harmony with it.
The sound is an undulation in the air, and each musical sound also has a number of modulations that he puts in movement. Four, five or more modulations are detected and recognized in the music, but the oscillation extends far beyond, than what the ear can accompany.
In a much superior and subtle matter, corresponding waves are raised, and because of this, the song of one or more notes, produces effects on the superior vehicles. There are sounds that are so over subtle to affect the air; nevertheless, it puts etheric matter in movement, and this etheric matter communicates its oscillations to the person who recites the mantra and to whom or what, it directs itself.
Such mantras, usually, consist of several orderly sounds, of a very resonant and sonorous character. Sometimes, it employs a simple syllable, like the Consecrated Word.
There are universal mantras, whose sounds and vibrations identify the same "mater-idea" in every side of the planet. It is the case of the vocal "Aum", which we pronounce more properly "OM", because it is the most powerful mantra, anywhere. In his iniciatic rhythm, it is the universal representation of God idea, the Unit, the Absolute. This Hindu consecrated word corresponds to the Egyptian "Amen".
There are several ways to pronounce it, producing different results, according to the notes in which the syllables are sung and the way how they are pronounced.
The effect of this word, when pronounced adequately at the beginning of the meditation or of a meeting, resembles a call from attention. It disposes the particles of the subtle bodies, very in the same way, as an electric chain acts on the atoms of an iron bar. Before the passage of such current, the atoms of the metal are pointing in several directions, but when the bar is magnetized by electricity, they turn and incline in a direction only.
Exactly, to the sound of the consecrated word, each particle in us answers, and then we find ourselves in a better condition to benefit from the meditation or study that is followed. At the same time, it acts as a call to other human beings and not-humans, which soon gathers around, some with comprehension of the meaning and power of the word, and another brought by the strangely attractive sound.
All the mantras that depend on the power of the sound are valuable just in the language in which they were done; if we translate in other language, we will have other mantra, by having a different group from sounds.
The negative mantra, used to malicious ends, belongs to violent and dilacerating characters and are pronounced with an angry energy and rancor: they are related with black witch ceremonies as, for example, the "voodoo".
Our connection with mantras should only be with the ones of beneficial and pleasing nature, and never with the malign. But, the good and the bad use, equally, the same working method; all of them aim to produce vibrations in the subtle bodies of the person that is pronouncing it as of those to who the mantra is directed.
Everything that we do by means of a mantra we could do by our own wish, without it. But the mantra establishes the required vibrations, making part of work for us and in consequence facilitating it.
Other point regarding the mantras is that we shall not pronounce it in own profit or in the presence of a rude person or with bad intentions because the power of a mantra will intensify it, to the good or to the evil.
A person that is present, and that can not answer to the vibrations in his superior form, could probably be prejudiced by it, and would strengthen the evil existing in him.
According to what Ramatis told us, "what gives force to the word transformed in mantra, besides its superior significance or sublime consecration, is the will, the tenderness, the personal vibration and love from who recites, in coalition with the individual vibration of the Cosmic Spirit. The mantra recitative, orderly by the magic laws of the hidden world, overflows of power and force the mental, astral and eteric field of man.
It is a powerful psychic detonator, which liberates the energies of the immortal spirit and leads it to the ecstasy, to the suspension of the common senses, by the fleeting contemplation of the "Divine World".
For all that was transcribed hitherto, the mantra recitation of the consecrated syllable "Aum" is lovingly intoned, at the beginning of the jobs of the Group of Ramatis Studies. The moment in which this practice was introduced into the Group is related as follow, by our leader:
"By 1983 or 1984, I made part of the 'Order of the 49', based in Piracicaba (São Paulo) and, directed by Polo Noel Atan, author of the book "The City of the 7 Planets".
In behalf of the truth, I learnt a lot with those studies trough mail, by monthly apostils. It made part of that study, the recitation of the mantra "Aum", and I always was forgetting myself to accomplish that norm.
In one Beautiful day, which I am never going to forget , I had an unusual dream, which served me as a mark for development of the activities in the Group of Ramatis Studies. Anyway, I always had since my five years, extraordinary dreams regarding premonition and warnings.
I had a dream that night that I was outside, having in front of my amazed eyes, a widespread horizon extended until out of my sight. I looked upwards and the sky was clean, much blue, cloudless dislocating itself here and there, very tranquil.
Suddenly appeared in great three letters what constitutes the mantra-root, where all the rest is originated.
He is the Principle and the End of all the things. It is Cosmic, Galactic, Solar and Planetary System. It is what gives origin to all the sounds and, consequently, all the music's.
Here is how I saw in the dream.
AUM = OM
I was fascinated looking the phenomenon in the sky, to the time in which, telepathically, they told me for me to pronounce it as per received instruction. I awoke instantly!
There on, I proceeded facing the subject with much more respect and seriousness.
Times later, I had the happy idea in introducing it on our Group of Ramatis Studies in the meeting days, which was accepted affectionately, and with much happiness by all the components.
The years passed and I disengaged myself of the Order of the 49, as I had already disengaged me of many other, because the study by correspondence usually tired me, however, the song Aum stayed as a precious stone in the Group of Ramatis Studies, being recited with respect, once a week in our meetings.
It is touching, to hear the spiritual mediums companions telling their stories regarding extrasensory existences, of their unfolding, of their psychic seeing on the location in the present, past or future, everything impelled at these sublime moments, by the force of the unison voices, being a catalyze of energies, unchained by the vibrations of the song.
These energies that are utilized too by the "Superior Brothers" and sent to several areas in the spiritual plans, liberating spirits still attached to the carnal bodies in cemeteries or that where buried secretly; other brothers as prisoners in the deepness of the sea or linked to their boats or ships, sometimes "ghosts" like them; and the majority, in the purgatory zones in the inferior astral.
This energy, as well, was already used by extraterrestrial brothers in difficulties in their route, as well as already assisted intra terrestrials, when in an accidental situation, needed us and the Father allowed us in helping them. We will detail thist subject, if possible, in another book".
