Dear brothers,

As we began our journey around the world spreading the Good News of the Lord, we were sure that all the beautiful messages of the Rabbi of Galilee would soften our hearts, as to ours captivated.

I remember, moved by His Sublime words:

- "Fishers of souls, I will make you!" ...

We could still hear the sweet breath of His words to our ears, calling us to the work of spreading His Messages.

It is true that in confronting myself with my own fear I was able to deny His Presence of Blessed Love, but I sought to redeem myself from such weakness. I still have in my memory the memory of the lesson learned on that sad spring afternoon.

It would be easier to deny the conviviality with the Master than to face the fury of His opponents.

Later, in written letters from the prison, I sent to the people of God, followers of Christ Jesus, these words: "There will be no more on earth, a so pure soul capable to redeem human populations. Jesus, the Divine Master, loving and patient Doctor of our souls who takes care of each one of us and keeps us in His Heart, is able to recognize us in our minimal actions.

Holder of all our thoughts and knowledge, He who knows everything and guides us as dear children, younger brothers, beloved pupils! ...

I am the one who comes to ask you in the form of a blessed supplication. It will seem at first strange and contradictory to you, but keep within your hearts, reserve for yourselves the simple request and whatever the events are, never deny the Christ as I denied it.
