Dear friends,

It was said; we would receive visitors of different lifestyles from long distance.

We prepared our heart to welcome our new friends. Some of them of loving hearts; others when looked at our people, they expressed greed and hate in the eyes.

They did not know how to behave, and began to impose their way of living to the Indians.

We prepared ourselves to receive white people arrived. We made a lot of dance and prayers to our ancestors. In vain, we tried to impede the culture shock and following our ancestral recommendations, we humbly left them penetrate in our lands.

It was not good for us, but we realized it was necessary. Even nowadays, we can see destruction in the entire Brazil, where Indian people perishes more and more. They may resist while is possible.

The miscegenation occurred. There is white man with Indian blood and Indians with features of white man. Finally, among pain and suffering, the Brazilian race was formed and we, the first Indians, having our Indian blood in the formation of the Brazilian people, we understand the pain yesterday as the fertilizer for happiness in the near future. We understand God’s Law.

The indigenous nations have been working to render concrete the Creator's Will.
